Data protection officer
Pursuant to Articles 37, 38, and 39 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) and Article 9 of the Declaration on the establishment of the company Vodoopskrba i odvodnja Ltd. (full text of 14 November 2017), the director of the company has issued a DECISION on the appointment of a data protection officer in Vodoopskrba i odvodnja Ltd.
The Data protection officer performs the duties provided for in Article 39 of the General Data Protection Regulation:
The Data protection officer performs the duties provided for in Article 39 of the General Data Protection Regulation:
- informing and counseling of the Controller or Processor, and the employees who perform the processing, of their obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation and other provisions on the protection of personal data
- monitoring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and other personal data protection provisions, including the distribution of responsibility, raising awareness and training of personnel involved in processing procedures, and the revision of the protection process
- to ensure the exercise of the rights of data subjects in respect to their personal data
- providing advice, when so requested, with regard to assessing impacts on data protection and monitoring its implementation in accordance with Article 35 Regulations
- cooperation with the supervisory body
- acting as a contact point for the supervisory body on processing matters, including the prior consultation referred to in Article 36, and consulting as appropriate on all other matters
