Students' visit regarding World Water Day
On the occasion of the World Water Day on March 22nd 2019, we were visited by the third grade students of the Elementary School Zapruđe, seventh grade students of the Primary School Horvati and fourth grade students from the elementary school Odra. The World Water Day is celebrated all over the world today and this year's theme is „Leaving no one behind“.
Over 150 students accompanied by their teachers visited the water pumping station Mala Mlaka, which also houses the Water Supply Museum, opened in 1978. During the visit, students learned about the importance of water, water supply network development throughout the history, and what to do and how to behave in order to protect drinking water for generations to come.
